See Title 16, Subtitle 2 of the Arkansas Code establishes the state court system. Arkansas operates county, municipal, common pleas, justice, and police courts of limited jurisdiction. It maintains the common law general jurisdiction courts of Chancery and Probate and has a single supreme court of last resort.
